D.C. Greschner donates a bag of books to the Willows Family Toy Drive, and gets roped into playing Choose Your Champion with Jenny West and Pol Plastino on the Zone radio station! Jenny was an excellent teammate and helped Greschner win tickets to the Jon & Roy Holiday Special!

D.C. Greschner has a successful book signing at Indigo Mayfair. She was visited by friends, new readers, and even local celebrity, Pol Plastino of the Zone radio station! Thank you all for coming out!

October 15, 2025
Quarter finalists were announced for the BookLife Prize, which is awarded to unpublished or self-published authors in several different categories. Guess who made the cut? That's right, D.C. Greschner's novel, Out of Tune received a critic's score of 9.5/10, landing her a spot in the quarter finals in the Sci-fi/ Fantasy/ Horror category. Today was the last market of the summer for D.C. Greschner. She had an absolute blast selling books and chatting with market goers at the James Bay, Sidney, and Moss Street markets. She took off the rest of August to focus on her performance of the play Ducks, by David Ellis Heyman as part of the Victoria Fringe Festival. Then, back to work as the school year starts up in September.

That's a wrap on Island FanCon 2025! D.C. Greschner attended her first event as a vendor. She met some cool people, networked with other local authors, participated in the novice cosplay contest, and sold a few books. More details can be found on her blog post about the event.

D.C. Greschner releases the Out of Tune novel study resource for teachers and homeschool parents. This completely FREE resource contains a variety of activities, lessons, writing assignments, and quizzes designed by a certified teacher to target learning outcomes from the ELA curriculum at a high school level. Anyone can access this resource here.
